Candy Corn Cupcakes

They seem to be all the rage this season, so how could I resist? Mine a simple vanilla cake colored yellow and orange then topped with a white corn-syrup based almond icing that has been whipped to full fluffiness.

3 Musketeers Cupcakes

These babies are chocolate cupcakes with a bite sized 3 Musketeers bar in the center. The icing is a combination of marshmallow fluff and melted 3 Musketeers bars.

Rhubarb Apple Spice Cupcakes

These cupcakes are made with a sparkling rhubarb cider and apple sauce then topped with a cinnamon spice icing.

Birthday at the Beach

This is the sand castle cake I made for a friend's daughter - it is a marbled chocolate and white cake with a brown sugar coconut icing. The turrets and towers are made from ice cream cones and it is covered in crushed graham crackers, nerd candies and white chocolate sand dollars.

Firework Cupcakes

In honor of the 4th of July I made these Firework Cupcakes. They are a red velvet cupcake with brown sugar buttercream icing that has pop rock candies mixed in!

These are the cupcakes I made for my friend's birthday. They are chocolate cupcakes with a peanut butter, marshmallow nougat icing.

Root Beer Float Cupcakes

My dad LOVES root beer floats - according to him, anytime is a good time to have one. This year for Father's Day I made my dad these root beer float cupcakes. They are a basic chocolate cupcake topped with an ice cream based vanilla bean and brown sugar icing with a hint of root beer extract.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Cupcakes

These are peanut butter cupcakes topped with a peanut butter crumble and brown sugar buttercream icing. These little beauties have also been filled with cherry jelly.

Birthday Cake Sandwich Cookies

These are my imitation of the 100th birthday Oreo cookies. I used a basic cake mix cookie recipe and then filled them with a cake batter and sprinkle buttercream icing.

Pink Lemonade Cupcakes

These are the Pink Lemonade Cupcakes I made to donate to a silent auction being held in benefit of a dear friend's family. They are lemon cupcakes topped with a tangy, vanilla buttercream frosting and a jelly lemon candy.

Hokey Pokey Cupcakes

These are the cupcakes I made today for a friend's birthday. They are a basic chocolate cupcake topped with a brown sugar buttercream frosting and a piece of hokey pokey candy. (Commonly known as "sea foam" in the US)

My Best Friend's Wedding

Today I had the privilege of decorating the cake for my best friend's wedding.  She asked for a simple white cake with white frosting and white detail work - and to match her colors, green frosting between layers.  It turned out beautiful - just like the bride :)

Cinnamon Raspberry Doughnuts

I also LOVE doughnuts.  These are mini cinnamon doughnuts topped with raspberry icing and sprinkles.

S'mores Bites

I LOVE s'mores and these are one of my favorite ways to have them.  It's a bites sized baked graham cracker crust topped with melted marshmallows and dipped in chocolate.
